GQR Healthcare is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in San Diego, California.

Job Description & Requirements

• 26-week contract - they are looking for 6-month contracts
• 40 hours
• Operational hours: M-F: 8 - 4:30 pm (start time as soon as 7 am)
• No option for 4/10’s or 3/12’s
• Must work 2 holidays
• Shift: Variable
• Standard work week is Monday through Friday but does include rotational call/standby – Monday through Sunday. Call hours are Monday through Friday: 5:00 p.m.- 7:30 a.m., Saturday/Sunday: 24 hours.
• Float Requirements:
• Floating: Will only float between Zion and San Diego Med Center
• Candidate must be able to travel and work at both hospitals (ZMC and SDMC).
• Is RTO Accepted?   What is the Max:
• No RTO is ideal and will be the candidate chosen first
• Up to 3 days max RTO approved
• On Call Requirement: Yes
• On-call standby is on a rotation basis / Saturdays and Sundays are considered after hours, and they will be on call 24 hours on rotation - this is for both locations. 4 IR techs are on call.
• For weekends, people mostly get called in.
• Standard work week is Monday through Friday but does include rotational call/standby – Monday through Sunday. Call hours are Monday through Friday: 5p-7:30a, Saturday/Sunday: 24 hours.
• Certs:
• ARRT
• CPR (BLS-C)
• CA CRT
• CA Flouro
• Venipuncture Cert (preference not a must) 

Experience:\nTwo years in IR. Will consider candidates with less than two years of experience, but this will be determined based on the scope of procedures performed and the level of knowledge.\nPhillips preferred not a must\nVascular and Interventional procedure is a must.\nNeuro is a plus.\nThe role has been open for about 6 months (Previous candidates were passed because they had worked there before)\nTravel Experience preferred, however, not required\nGQR proven performer highly preferred\nWill accept local travelers
