American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 2 years of neurological case experience at a comprehensive stroke facility.

\n \n Responsibilities\n
  • Work in an Interventional Radiology department specializing in neurological and vascular procedures
  • Facility operates as a comprehensive stroke center
  • Work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm with potential overtime and on-call requirements
  • Must be able to float to a nearby sister hospital within clinical scope
  • Siemens imaging equipment is used, and Cerner EMR experience is preferred
  • Responsible for sterile room preparation, patient preparation, assisting physician during procedures, and post-procedure clean up and imaging
  • Duties include administering contrast media, monitoring patient status during procedures, and operating advanced imaging equipment
  • Tasks include PACS image management, RIS study indexing, and full procedure documentation
  • Must follow all principles of radiation protection and ALARA techniques
  • Team environment with potential to assist in training new personnel or students
  • Completion of onsite online modules with a passing score is required approximately one week prior to start
  • COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory
  • No blocked scheduling is permitted
  • Scrub attire must comply with facility policy
  • Internal rules apply regarding RTO requests

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in interventional radiology, including neurological procedures
  • Active Michigan license required for consideration
  • Current BLS (AHA) certification required
  • Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) with advanced certification in CI, VI, or CV
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Must maintain required hours of continued medical education
  • Neurological case experience required
  • Experience in a comprehensive stroke facility is required
  • License required if applicable
