Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time School Psychologist position is available at an elementary school serving grades K-5. This role is a full school year contract opportunity focused on supporting the psychological and educational needs of young students. The position is located in Des Plaines, IL, offering a dynamic environment to apply your expertise in school psychology within an elementary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students
  • Develop and implement individualized interventions and educational plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student success
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to school-wide initiatives

Qualifications:

  • Licensed or certified School Psychologist or eligible for licensure
  • Experience working with elementary-aged students (K-5)
  • Ability to conduct assessments, interpret data, and develop intervention strategies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Knowledge of legal and ethical issues related to school psychology
