Position Overview:

As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with diverse learning needs and assisting in the implementation of individualized education programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one support to students with special education needs.
• Assist in implementing instructional activities tailored to individual student IEPs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment for students with varying exceptionalities.
• Collaborate with special education teachers and other staff members to ensure the overall well-being and success of students.
• Support with classroom management and behavior interventions specific to students' IEPs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Genuine interest in working with students with special education needs.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with students in a special education setting.
• Relevant certifications or coursework in special education or a related field.
