Base pay range

$137,600.00/yr - $236,500.00/yr

This is a high-impact role where you will lead operational and communication programs that enable Technology organization employees to do great work, drive alignment with our mission, and foster a collaborative, innovative culture. You will craft and deliver narratives that bring our strategy to life, navigate periods of rapid change, and help geographically distributed teams feel connected and informed.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead key horizontal projects and initiatives within the Technology organization, managing business case scope, dependencies, resources and milestones.
• Develop and execute internal communications strategies that support business goals, strengthen Technology culture, and reflect SoFi brand and values.
• Partner with the CTO and Tech Leadership team to create authentic, transparent communications, including town halls, leadership updates, and other weekly communications for the Technology organization.
• Collaborate with Tech leaders to author and create high-quality content in formats such as Slack, video, presentations, intranet, newsletters, etc.
• Leverage tools and technology to ensure communications are timely and accessible, aligned with employee needs.
• Track the effectiveness of internal communications and improve based on data and feedback.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships across Biz Ops, People, Legal & Compliance, Marketing, and Ops to align internal messaging horizontally.

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years of internal, engineering, or technology communications or business operations experience in a fast-paced company.
• Exceptional storytelling, writing, and editing skills; able to convey complex information simply and clearly.
• Strong executive presence with experience advising senior leaders on communication strategy.
• Deep understanding of fostering employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Experience in change management best practices.
• Familiarity with internal communications tools and platforms (Slack, Confluence, Jira, etc.).
• Excellent project management skills with ability to juggle multiple initiatives in a high-growth environment.
• High adaptability, discretion, and emotional intelligence.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, English, Business, or a related field; Masters degree is a plus.
• Experience in FinTech, Financial Services, or highly-regulated environments.
• Experience scaling internal communications during high-growth phases.
• Experience communicating to both technical and non-technical audiences.
