Mining Engineer – Cement Industry

Martinsburg, WV |  $100K–$140K

Join a modern construction materials company as a  Mining Engineer , supporting daily operations and long-term planning at a major quarry site. You’ll ensure safe, efficient production while driving mine optimization, compliance, and performance.  Cement Manufacturing and Process is a Real Plus!

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily mining operations and MSHA compliance
• Develop short- and long-term mine plans
• Manage mine production tracking, monthly mapping, and reporting
• Optimize resources (manpower, fuel, equipment, etc.)
• Supervise operators and contractors
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and material quality monitoring
• Conduct inspections and support site reliability/maintenance

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Mining, Geology, or Engineering
• 3–6 years’ experience in mining or heavy industry (cement, steel, lime, etc.)
• Strong planning, supervision, and technical skills
• Experience with CMMS and mine mapping
