Job Description
TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and maintenance of heavy equipment. This role requires excellent mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills, along with a solid understanding of heavy equipment operation and repair in accordance with factory and industry standards.
Responsibilities:
Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems on heavy equipment including 20K forklifts, dozers, excavators, and off-road trucks .
Rebuild, maintain, and repair diesel and gasoline trucks, cars, trailers, hydraulic cranes, hoists, air compressors, drilling and service rig engines, mud pumps, rotary tables, drilling swivels, kellies, backhoes, forklifts, and other mechanized equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
Accurately document repairs and communicate with supervisors regarding equipment status.
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic (heavy equipment focus preferred).
Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems .
Ability to read and interpret repair manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.
Diesel Mechanic Certification preferred
Schedule & Pay:
2 locations: 77051 & 77066
Pay: $25–$28/hr. (depending on experience)
