If so, we invite you to explore an opportunity that truly makes a difference. The Multi-Domain Solutions (MDS) division is looking for a skilled Facilities Painter to join our Facilities team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing and preserving the visual appeal and integrity of our buildings through a variety of interior and exterior painting and maintenance tasks. This includes wall preparation, drywall repair, and surface finishing in both high-traffic and specialized areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute interior and exterior painting projects across common areas, doors, restrooms, conference rooms, break rooms, and more.

  • Prepare painting surfaces by cleaning, patching holes, sanding, and priming as needed.

  • Perform drywall repairs, baseboard replacements, and trim work prior to painting.

  • Mix, match, and apply various finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayers effectively.

  • Maintain cleanliness and protection of work areas during and after painting processes.

  • Participate in special projects requiring painting and surface repairs.

  • Conduct inspections and maintain painted surfaces to ensure ongoing quality and durability.

  • Assist with general facility maintenance tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must possess TS/SCI w/ Poly Clearance.

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.

  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance or building operations.

  • Basic understanding of facility management principles and building systems.

  • Familiarity with maintenance operations, including HVAC and plumbing systems.

  • Working knowledge of safety standards and building codes.

  • Ability to assist in facility inspections and maintain service records.

  • Strong attention to detail and skill in managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Effective communication skills for coordination with vendors and team members.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

  • Ability to learn or effectively use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or certification in Facility Management, Construction Management, HVAC, or a related field is desirable.

  • 4+ years of experience in facilities, particularly in corporate or commercial settings.

  • Understanding of budgeting and cost tracking for facilities projects.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts.

  • Knowledge of project planning and scheduling for renovations and upgrades.

  • Experience in long-range space utilization planning is a plus.

  • Real estate coordination or lease administration experience is beneficial.

  • OSHA safety training or facilities certifications (e.g., FMP, SFP) are advantageous.
