Job Requirements

• Provide Companion, personal and skilled care to clients based on license level as outlined by NC State regulations
• Document plan of care requirements, time and attendance, and other required information in BrightStar Care's ABS / MABS system
• Input shift availability at least 2 weeks in advance into the MABS system
• Start shift on-time and complete all plan of care tasks
• Notify the Director of nursing of client changes or concerns as outlined by NC State regulations
• Assist in providing a safe environment and promote quality client care through adherence to established policies, procedures and standards
• Ensure client's rights are adhered to. These include but are not limited to:
  • the right to privacy and dignity while care is being provided
  • the right to accept or refuse care
  • the right to confidentiality of their information
• Respond rapidly and appropriately in an emergency situation
• Use equipment properly and in a safe manner
• Outstanding communication skills and empathy for our clients

Qualifications

• Valid NC license (Required)
• Minimum 1 Year Experience in Home Care
• Current Physical and TB Test
• Understanding of HIPAA and OSHA Regulations
• Valid Drivers License and Have Reliable Transportation with Appropriate Insurance
