Pay Range: $18.00-$21.00/hour

What You Bring to the Table - 1+ years of veterinary assistant experience (must-have)
- Skilled in canine/feline restraint, radiographs, blood draws, in-house lab testing, vaccines, and medication administration
- Confident monitoring patients under sedation and anesthesia.
- Strong client communication skills
- Experience with veterinary software (Avimark a plus!)
- Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Your Role in the Pack - Assist doctors with exams, treatments, surgeries, and procedures
- Perform blood draws, administer vaccines/medications, and run lab tests
- Monitor patients safely under sedation and maintain accurate records
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Help keep exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment organized and ready for action

Shirlington Animal Hospital operates Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 6:00pm and Saturday 8:00am to 2:00pm. We are closed on Sunday. We do not provide any boarding or grooming.
