Overview: We're looking for an exceptional individual experienced in Transaction Coordinator to join our successful Residential Real Estate start-up to support the growth of our single-Family portfolio. The Junior Transaction Coordinator is an important role providing leverage to the Manager, Closings & Transaction Management in completing initial residential purchase transactions, ensuring the accuracy in all closing documents and protecting the integrity of all purchases. You will have immediate impact through organizing documents and scheduling activities. We'd love to hear from energetic administrative professionals with an eye for detail who are experienced in handling high volumes of documentation and are able to work independently. The successful candidate will have a keen sense for streamlining processes, enjoy taking on new challenges, and thrive in a fast-paced environment

The Role: Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of acquisition and disposition closings across multiple markets.- -
  • Coordinate directly with title companies, escrow officers, buyers, sellers, attorneys, lenders, and internal stakeholders. -
  • Review and clear title/survey exceptions, verify lease compliance, coordinate insurance, and ensure all closing conditions are met. -
  • Maintain and organize complete digital closing binders, ensuring accuracy, version control, and audit readiness.
  • Track key transaction milestones and deadlines using internal trackers and provide regular status updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare and distribute transaction checklists, closing calendars, and investor reporting materials -
  • Support diligence intake and documentation requirements from sellers and buyers. -
  • Serve as the primary transaction contact for external counterparties and internal departments (Legal, Acquisitions, Asset Management, Debt, and Construction).
  • Identify and resolve blockers to ensure on-time, compliant closings.
  • Train and mentor junior transaction team members; provide process oversight and best practice guidance.
  • Partner with leadership to improve workflows, tools, and systems for scale.
  • Assist with special projects including investor onboarding, and operational documentation.
Qualifications and Experience
  • 4+ years of direct real estate transaction coordination experience, preferably across both acquisitions and dispositions.
  • Strong understanding of residential closing processes, title/escrow practices, and compliance standards.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple simultaneous closings with minimal oversight.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and high attention to detail in document handling and deadline tracking.
  • Ability to think critically, resolve issues independently, and anticipate transaction risks.
  • Lender/Loan Experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; comfortable interacting with legal counsel, investors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong professional judgment, accountability, and a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with evolving priorities.
