Job Description:
In this job, you will be responsible for preparing tax returns for individuals. You will receive original documents from clients, such as 1099s, K-1s, and documents supporting deductions. Your task will be to efficiently organize the data and input it into our tax software for review by our permanent staff tax professionals.
Responsibilities:
·To be considered for this position, you must have extensive and recent experience in the preparation of complex personal income tax returns (Form 1040)
·Experience with GOSystem Tax RS is preferred
·The position involves a strong working knowledge of tax return preparation and processing in a high-volume environment
Requirements:
·Minimum 3-5 years of current experience preferably with a CPA firm during tax season
·Must have CPA firm experience (H&R Block and similar type firms are not considered CPA firm experience)
·Proficiency with GOSystem Tax RS highly desire
·Experience with Adobe PDF is highly desired
