Contracting Engineering Consultants is an AISC Certified structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication shop near Morgantown WV recruiting for a fitter/fabricator. This full-time opportunity has a great Monday – Friday schedule of 6:00am -2:30pm and a starting wage based on experience.

Skills Required:

• Work safely and comfortably in a team or individual setting.
• Minimum 5-year experience with structural steel layout. Must be able to mark, position, and tack weld parts during assembly using straightedges, squares, and rulers as specified by detail drawings, diagrams, work orders, and oral instructions.
• Proficiency with MIG Welding and AWS D1.1 welding code.
• Proficiency with plasma hand torch cutting
• Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements and troubleshoot malfunctions
• Must be comfortable operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Must possess project and time management skills.
• Must possess housekeeping skills, must be able to keep workspace clean.
• Foreman/crew lead experience preferred.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
