Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Staff Accountant to support the day-to-day financial operations of our U.S. headquarters. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and process accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness
Perform bank reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity
Maintain fixed asset records , including depreciation schedules and capital expenditure tracking
Prepare and record journal entries for month-end and year-end close processes
Assist with the monthly, quarterly, and annual close procedures
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and documentation
Compile and analyze financial data to support management reporting and decision-making
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent financial operations and reporting
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3-5 years of experience in a general accounting role
Experience working with large inventory
Strong understanding of core accounting functions
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar)
High attention to detail, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative finance team
