SME Oracle APEX Developer Location: Washington, DC (100% on-site) Client is hiring a SME Oracle APEX Developer on the ESA V program. The ideal candidate will be personable, articulate, and focused on meeting customer needs efficiently. The successful candidate should be a self-starter capable of working with limited supervision. Excellent communication skills are essential for interfacing with customers to understand requirements and translate them into actions. This position requires onsite presence 5 days a week at one of the primary customer locations in the Washington, DC metro area. Primary Responsibilities Support the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, primarily using Oracle APEX. Perform advanced development using Oracle APEX 21 and above. Use Oracle IDEs such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer. Design and manipulate web content with JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML. Create dynamic reports within Oracle APEX and support Oracle Database products version 11 and above. Support Oracle database objects such as tables, indexes, sequences, triggers, etc. Assist with PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting, including built-in packages and procedures. Manage unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in Oracle environment. Integrate and manage BI Publisher templates and web services. Analyze Oracle Forms applications and design migration strategies to web applications using Oracle APEX. Develop APIs and external application connections. Deliver enterprise workflow-centric applications. Automate business processes through logical functions and algorithms. Basic Qualifications Typically requires a BS degree with 12-15 years of relevant experience or a Master’s with 10-13 years; Doctorate in a technical field may be considered. U.S. Citizen and able to obtain/maintain a public trust security clearance. Experience with secure network programming in Oracle, including security certificates and Experience with lifecycle development of Oracle Applications and APEX. Proficiency with Oracle IDEs, JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, HTML. Experience with PL/SQL, Java, PowerShell, Unix scripting, and unstructured data management. Ability to establish goals and meet project objectives. Experience with data migration tools and techniques. Ability to document system work products clearly. Excellent communication, teamwork, and Agile development skills. Customer interface experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Oracle Database 11+ and Oracle Forms and Reports 10G+. Experience with Oracle APEX 4.0+. Troubleshooting operational issues. Government contracting experience, especially with DOJ. Current DOJ Clearance.
