Job Description

This position is responsible for maintaining shipping and receiving matters and for overall cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.

Monday- Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shipping and Receiving inventory using a forklift and barcode scanning system.
• Properly load and unload semi-trailers and/or shipping containers.
• Maintain the company warehouse through organizing, cleaning, and cycle counting items on a regular basis.
• Organizing the warehouse to ensure that there is sufficient storage space for incoming shipments.
• Assist the manager with troubleshooting shipping issues, customer complaints, and any inventory issues that arise and work to solve them.
• Adhere to all Greenbridge safety rules.
• General housekeeping of the shipping/warehouse area and breakroom.
• Stocking inventory.
• Place merchandise in warehouse or storage facility by packaging and lifting items as necessary
• Operates forklift and pallet jacks when storing or moving large goods.
• Performs other related duties assigned by Management, including but not limited to light production assembly.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Skills Required:

• Effective communication, observation, planning, writing, reading, basic math, and prioritization skills.
• Forklift and barcode scanner operation preferred.
• Demonstrates good housekeeping practices.
• Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
• Works well independently and with others.
• Good communication skills.
• Organized with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.

Education and Experience:

• 3 to 5 years' experience in a warehouse environment
• Forklift certification preferred.

Physical Requirements / Environmental Demands :

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move items as needed.
• Must be able to visually inspect inbound and outbound shipments.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repetitively.
• Required to wear PPE to include steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection.
• Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temp.
