As a Security Professional - Access Control Patrol in Fountain Inn, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more .

As a Security Officer specializing in access control at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, and managing badge access for employees and visitors. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols throughout the facility, remaining highly visible to promote a secure environment, and responding promptly to alarm panels or other security-related alerts. You will also utilize computer or tablet systems to maintain accurate records and support security operations. What You’ll Do:

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
  • Monitor and manage access control points to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business premises and perimeter to help to deter potential issues and identify any unusual activity.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, irregularities, or hazards discovered during patrols or while monitoring access points.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and/or contractors, verifying credentials as required by site policy.
  • Support Allied Universal and client management by following all post orders and maintaining a visible presence at assigned access control locations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
