Our work depends on a SCITLS SharePoint Administrator joining our team to oversee the administration of SharePoint platforms that support USSTRATCOM. The SCITLS SharePoint Administrator will be a critical component in ensuring the effective operation of vital systems and engineering the success of the SCITLS mission.

SCITLS will be a key component that will ensure mission success and the safety of the U.S. and its allies by providing 24/7 IT services and network support for NIPRNet, SIPRNet, JWICS, and SAP/SAR environments.

USSTRATCOM is a Combatant Command responsible for strategic deterrence, nuclear operations, and enterprise IT services essential to national security. It oversees Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3), Joint Electromagnetic Spectrum Operations (JEMSO), Global Strike, and Missile Threat Assessments, working closely with other Combatant Commands, Services, and defense agencies.

HOW A SCITLS SHAREPOINT ADMINISTRATOR WILL MAKE AN IMPACT

• Manages SharePoint software platform, farms, integrations with other systems, access rights/control
• Performs database administration support
• Performs SharePoint administration including development, maintenance, and operations through configuration, administration, troubleshooting, and incident/problem support (Tier 2, 3, and 4), and patching
• Plans and performs maintenance within operational governance structures, policies, and operating procedures to ensure minimal operational downtime for critical, scheduled, and unscheduled maintenance
• Performs site migrations using various migration methods such as backups/restores
• Manages user identities, credentials, and privileges on local servers

WHAT YOULL NEED TO SUCCEED

Education: Technical Training, Certification(s) or Degree (or equivalent experience)

Required Experience: 10+ years of related experience with Microsoft SharePoint Administration

Required Technical Skills:

• Ability to create, migrate, administer, and support Microsoft SharePoint sites

Required Certification 1 (Must possess or be able to obtain within 9 months of start): ITIL 4: IT Service Management (ITSM) Certification

Required Certification 2 (Must possess or be able to obtain within 30 days of start one of the following):

• CompTia Cloud+
• -or- GIAC Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GICSP)
• -or- GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC)
• -or- ISC2 Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

Security Clearance Level: Must currently possess active Top Secret with SCI eligibility

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience troubleshooting incidents and providing problem support at all levels

Preferred Certifications:

• ITIL 4 Foundations
• Microsoft Certified SharePoint Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Teams Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified Power BI Data Analyst Associate

Location: Offutt AFB, Sarpy County, Nebraska - $10,000 r elocation assistance is available

Salary and Benefit Information

The likely salary range for this position is $144,500 - $195,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
