Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Engineer with deep expertise in the Salesforce platform to join our growing team. This role is responsible for designing scalable data models, building efficient data pipelines, and integrating diverse data sources within Salesforce. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical proficiency in Salesforce architecture , ETL processes , and programming languages like Python, Apex or Java , with a focus on automation and transformation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data models within Salesforce, ensuring data integrity and optimal performance.


• Design and implement scalable data categorization strategies within Salesforce, leveraging metadata management tools to classify, tag and organize data assets for improved governance


• Implement and manage ETL pipelines to migrate and synchronize data between Salesforce and external systems.


• Build and automate data workflows using scripting and programming (e.g., Python or Java).


• Partner with cross-functional teams including Salesforce developers, data analysts, and business stakeholders to define data requirements and integration strategies.


• Create and maintain technical documentation for data architecture, pipelines, and processes.


• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards across all systems and integrations.


• Contribute to performance tuning, troubleshooting, and optimization of data operations.


• Stay current with Salesforce platform updates, ETL best practices, and data engineering trends.

Success Factors:

• Deep technical understanding of Salesforce data models , object relationships, and custom configurations.


• Experience in designing scalable and maintainable ETL/integration workflows .


• Proficiency in using Salesforce APIs to extract, manipulate, and load data programmatically.


• Strong coding skills in Python or Java for data engineering tasks.


• In-depth knowledge of Salesforce development tools (Apex, LWC), including Salesforce Data Cloud is a strong plus.


• Detail-oriented with a mindset for data quality , consistency , and performance optimization .


• Strong collaboration and communication skills to work across technical and business teams.


• Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Information Systems , or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).


• 3+ years of experience in a data engineering role, preferably with a focus on Salesforce.


• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (e.g., Talend, Informatica, MuleSoft, or custom solutions).


• Familiarity with Salesforce development (Apex, LWC) and platform configuration .
