As a Development and Real Estate Intern, you’ll have the opportunity to
● Assist in identifying potential restaurant locations through market research and demographic analysis
● Support the restaurant site selection process by evaluating key factors such as traffic patterns, competition and economic trends
● Work with the development team to analyze lease agreements, zoning regulations, and site feasibility
● Assist with the process of coordinating with architects, contractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution
● Help track project timelines, budgets, and key deliverables for new restaurant openings
● Conduct financial modeling and proforma analysis to support investment decisions
● Research emerging hospitality and real estate trends to inform strategic development plans
● Support negotiations and due diligence efforts for potential new locations
What We’re Looking For
● Passion for real estate development, hospitality, and business strategy
● A sharp analytical mindset and a knack for problem-solving
● Excellent research abilities and attention to detail
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills
● Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
● Experience with GIS mapping or real estate software is a plus
● Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Urban Planning, or a related field
● Availability for a summer internship running from early June to early August (approx. 10 weeks), requiring 40 working hours per week
