Job Title: Production Assistant 

Employment Type: Full-Time, 40 hours/week 

Reports to: Communication Director 

FLSA Status: Exempt

Position Type: In-Person ( This position travels 2-3 weekends per month )

Opportunity 

Life Surge is seeking a highly skilled Production Assistant with expertise in ProPresenter to join our dynamic production team. This full-time role is crucial in ensuring the flawless execution of all technical and visual elements of our events. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work cross-functionally with various teams to bring our events to life. 

Responsibilities: 

• ProPresenter & Technical Oversight: Set up and operate ProPresenter; manage screens, cues, and media to ensure flawless execution. 

• Show & Stage Management: Own the visual presentation, lead stage setup, and supervise all visible elements for a polished experience. 

• Collaboration & Coordination: Work cross-functionally to manage logistics, talent needs, creative updates, and marketing assets. 

• Problem Solving:  Troubleshoot technical issues and adapt live to maintain show flow and quality. 

• Producer & Admin Support: Assist with event adjustments, invoicing, and day-of execution tasks as needed. 

• Creative Input: Offer ideas to elevate production quality and audience engagement. 

Requirements: 
Frequent travel and weekend availability, including mornings and evenings. A passion for production, strong attention to detail, and a proactive mindset are essential. 

Qualifications: 

• Proficiency in ProPresenter and experience managing multimedia content for live events. 

• Strong understanding of AV systems, live production workflows, and event logistics. 

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, live event environment. 

• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving mindset. 

• Experience working with talent riders, furniture logistics, and stage setup is a plus. 

• Strong leadership and team management skills to coordinate stage elements and event execution. 

• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed for events.
