Are you passionate about pushing the boundaries of test engineering for next-generation photonic integrated circuits?

Metric have partnered with a world leading semiconductor organization that has invested $1B into developing Advanced Packaging and Photonics Labs to accelerate the design & manufacturing of Silicon Photonics (SiPh) technology for communications & datacenter applications.

To support these efforts we are seeking to hire a Senior ATE Test Engineer who can act as the Technical Leader of a team of 9-15 Test Engineers who will be responsible for the following:

• Lead and manage strategic partnerships with ATE Test Vendors (Advantest) and other test ecosystem partners (probe card manufacturers, ATE load board manufacturers etc.) to build a holistic Silicon Photonic test strategy.
• Architect and optimize test solutions for photonic devices incorporating RF, mmWave, and optical elements.
• Define and execute test programs with internal design teams and customers.
• Drive yield improvement initiatives and ramp-up efforts with internal engineering teams and OSAT partners.

The successful candidate would have the following skillset:

• 8+ years of Silicon Photonics or High Speed Digital Test Development on leading ATE platforms (Advantest 93K preferred)
• Strong background within test hardware development and debugging of ATE test devices
• Good knowledge of Java or C++ programming in a Linux environment, as well as scripting to support test SW development
• Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating within a cross-functional team.
