Job Description

A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Occupational Therapist (OT) are needed for a K-12 school setting in Newellton, LA. Both positions are contracted for the full school year (NSY) and provide services to students across all grade levels from kindergarten through 12th grade.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive speech-language therapy and occupational therapy services to K-12 students.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations and assessments.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress.
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies.
• Deliver therapy through various settings, including in-person and teletherapy (for SLP).
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning.

Qualifications for Speech-Language Pathologist:

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Experience in healthcare, pediatrics, and school-based settings.
• Ability to provide teletherapy services.
• Successful completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).

Qualifications for Occupational Therapist:

• Licensed or certified as an Occupational Therapist.
• Experience working with K-12 student populations.
• Ability to develop and implement therapeutic interventions within the school environment.

Location: Newellton, Louisiana (K-12 School)
