Job Description

This opportunity seeks a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Occupational Therapist (OT) to support K-12 students through a full-time, contract position for the new school year. Located in Tallulah, LA, this role involves working within a school setting to provide essential therapy services that foster student development and success.

Responsibilities include:

• Delivering speech-language pathology services across the K-12 spectrum, including evaluation, treatment planning, and individualized therapy sessions.
• Providing occupational therapy services focused on improving students fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective therapy strategies.
• Utilizing teletherapy techniques as needed to enhance accessibility and student engagement.
• Maintaining accurate documentation and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Participating in meetings and contributing to individualized education plans (IEPs).

Qualifications and desired experience:

• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) for Speech-Language Pathologists.
• Experience in pediatric healthcare settings and school-based services.
• Eligibility or completion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) for SLP candidates.
• Competency in teletherapy delivery for remote speech therapy.
• Licensed or qualified for provision of occupational therapy services for school-aged children.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work within an interdisciplinary team.
