ALWAYS.DataOne Systems is seeking a results-driven Outside Sales Executive to expand our market presence by developing new business opportunities and growing relationships with existing clients. This role will focus on selling DataOne's turnkey Layer One solutions, including professional services, edge network solutions, outside plant infrastructure, and custom manufacturing products to businesses across diverse industries.Working closely with our Executive Team, Internal Sales Support, and Service Delivery Teams, you will be equipped with a competitive, industry-leading compensation plan while delivering high-value solutions to our clients.As an outside sales role, this position requires spending at least 50% of the time in the field, meeting with potential and existing clients, networking, and closing deals. A self-starter mentality, strong technical acumen, and the ability to operate with minimal oversight are key to success in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop new business and expand relationships with existing clients by utilizing strategic sales techniques such as cold calling, in-person meetings, industry networking, and referrals.Identify, create, and manage sales opportunities within DataOne's Sales Management Platform, ensuring progress toward sales targets and company revenue goals.Gain a deep understanding of clients' IT infrastructure needs, network priorities, and expansion plans to position DataOne's portfolio of solutions.Build and maintain strategic channel relationships with enterprise, telecom, data center, and government clients, as well as key industry partners.Collaborate with internal engineering, project management, and service delivery teams to ensure seamless execution of client projects.Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and evolving client needs to remain a trusted advisor.Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by effectively selling DataOne's customized IT infrastructure solutions.Travel within the assigned sales territory to meet customers, attend industry events, and represent DataOne Systems in the market.Qualifications & ExperienceRequired:3-5+ years of successful B2B sales experience with a strong record of new business development and closing high-value deals.Experience in data center, telecommunications, or IT infrastructure sales.Strong understanding of fiber networks, structured cabling, telecom infrastructure, and enterprise networking solutions.Demonstrated ability to build long-term client relationships, negotiate contracts, and drive revenue growth.Preferred:Experience selling complex IT infrastructure solutions such as fiber optics, OSP, data center networking, or telecom services.Working knowledge of leading OEM solutions (e.g., Nokia, Ciena, Infinera, Cisco, Dell/VMware, AWS, etc.).Industry certifications or advanced degrees in business, sales, or technology.Skills & CompetenciesStrong consultative sales skills with the ability to identify pain points, present solutions, and close deals.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation abilities, and customer engagement strategies.Ability to self-manage, operate with minimal direction, and stay motivated in a fast-paced, competitive environment.Business acumen with strong negotiation, decision-making, and strategic planning capabilities.High adaptability to evolving technology trends, customer needs, and industry advancements.Ability to travel frequently and engage clients in person as needed.Why Join DataOne Systems?Industry-leading compensation plan with uncapped commission potential.Work with a fast-growing, innovative company in the IT infrastructure space.High-demand industry with consistent business opportunities.Collaborative team environment with strong support from leadership.Opportunities for career advancement in a rapidly expanding company.Unique RequirementsMinimum of 50% travel within assigned sales territory.Attendance at industry events, company meetings, and client engagements as needed.Work Location:Dallas, TXSan Jose, CADataOne IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
