Kelly Services in partnership with Cummins has immediate openings for Forklift/Warehouse Associates to join our team at  Cummins Distribution Center in Portland - 6511 NE Mt St Helens Ave Portland OR 97220. Cummins is a global power and auto component manufacturer and we have a full-time, temp to hire position on 1st shift Monday-Friday open and available! Due to the nature of the role and requirements, this position requires Forklift operating experience to be placed and start (do not need to be certified).

\n Positions start at over $20 an hour! \n

  • 1st shift: 8am - 5pm (M-F) - $20.75 / hr \n
\nStart and end times for 1st shift may vary from 6am-9am and 3pm-6pm (all hires must be flexible for this)

What is a typical day as a Warehouse Associate? You’ll be:

\n\n
    \n\t
  • Driving forklift and other PIV's (cherry picker, reach forklift, standup forklift)\n\t
  • Receiving, stocking, storing, handling and labeling goods and materials in a warehouse environment.\n\t
  • Inspecting merchandise, checking for shortages, damaged goods and discrepancies.\n\t
  • Handling goods and materials carefully and safely\n\t
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement including ways to optimize warehouse space\n

\n Minimum Qualifications :\n\n
    \n\t
  • Requires Forklift operating experience (do not need to be certified)\n\t
  • Are at least 18 years of age\n\t
  • Are comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, standing, walking, and kneeling in a production/warehouse environment \n\t
  • Steel-toed shoes/boots are required to start\n
