Overview Oracle PL/SQL Developer Technology Lead - US | Technology|Converged Infrastructure|Oracle Exadata, Technology|Database|Oracle Database, Technology|Oracle|PL/SQL Infosys is seeking a Lead Oracle PL/SQL Developer . This position’s primary responsibility will be to provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team. The chosen candidate will assist in the technical design of large business systems; build applications, interfaces between applications, understand data security, retention, and recovery. The role holder should be able to research technologies independently to recommend appropriate solutions and contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards; contribute to success criteria from design through deployment, including reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; contribute expertise on significant application components, program languages, databases, operating systems, etc., and guide/mentor the team during the build and test phases. Required Qualifications and Preferences are listed below. Responsibilities Provide technical expertise and coordinate day-to-day deliverables for the team. Assist in the technical design of large business systems; build applications and interfaces between applications. Understand data security, retention, and recovery; research technologies independently to recommend solutions. Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards; define success criteria from design through deployment. Ensure reliability, cost-effectiveness, performance, data integrity, maintainability and scalability; guide/mentor the team during build and test phases. Required Qualifications Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Plano, TX or Addison, TX or Pennington, NJ or be willing to relocate; travel in the US may be required. Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. At least 3 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL. At least 3 years of experience in SQL skills in Oracle DB and Exadata. Experience in writing Stored procedures and functions. Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time. Preferred Qualifications At least 4 years of experience in software design, development and support working in SQL. Good knowledge of Performance tuning. Experience in data modelling and data mapping skills. Experience in Unix Shell scripting. Good to have – ETL knowledge (Data stage, Informatica). Good to have any data analysis related experience. Strong communication and analytical skills. Ability to work in a team in a diverse/multiple-stakeholder environment. Experience and willingness to work in a Global delivery environment. Compensation and Benefits The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Travel may be required as per the job requirements. Estimated annual compensation range for candidate based in Pennington, NJ: $76,071 to $98,893 .
