Position : Marine Electrician

Company : Large Maritime Manufacturing Company

Location : Kings Bay, Georgia (~30 miles from Jacksonville, FL)

Per Diem / Relocation Bonus:

• Relocation Bonus : Everyone is eligible if not local (more than 100 miles) - this will be paid upfront on their 1st paycheck - $1,500.00
• Per diem (more than 50 miles) – up to $178/day ($22.25/hr ), eligible for 12 months. Portion of PR will be untaxed

Pay Range: $30/HR - $43/HR

Qualifications :

• Active Security Clearance
• OSHA 10 Certification
• 2+ years of recent/relevant experience on submarines

Marine Electricians Non -Nuclear Electrical Work (TSD EW) :

• Install, modify, repair, troubleshoot and test various electrical and electronics systems, circuits, controls, instruments and equipment. Also includes installation of wire ways and cabling. Marine Electricians

Topside Electrical Work (TSD TZ):

• Remove, Disassemble, inspect, repair, adjust, test, and install external electrical systems cabling in tanks, voids, and sails. Includes installation of hull fittings, penetrators, and tank level indicators.

Marine Electrician Tasks TSD EW (Non -nuclear Electrical Work):

• Remove, modify, and install electrical equipment
• Remove, install, groom, and band wireways and cabling
• Pack and unpack equipment and bulkhead penetrations
• Repair electrical equipment and cabling
• Utilize electrical checks to test and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Disconnect, groom, and reconnect wiring

TSD TZ (Topside Electrical Work):

• Remove, modify, and install electrical equipment
• Disconnect, remove, install, groom, band, and reconnect wireways and cabling
• Utilize electrical checks to test electrical systems
• Remove, install, and test hull fittings, penetrations, and tank level indicators

Marine Electrician Skill Requirements TSD EW (Non -nuclear Electrical Work):

- Trained, qualified and have experience with all tasks and components similar to that outlined for TSD EW.

- Trained and experienced in cutting in cables and hooking up equipment, panels, and boxes IAW Navy

Standard Methods Drawings TSD TZ (Topside Electrical Work):

- Trained, qualified and have experience with all tasks and components similar to that outlined for TSD TZ.

- Trained and experienced in cutting in cables and hooking up equipment, panels, and boxes IAW Navy Standard Methods Drawings

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
