Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Location: Tulare, CA

Shifts Available: Multiple shifts (days, evenings, nights)

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the proper operation, maintenance, and repair of production equipment and plant facilities. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and be dedicated to supporting efficient and safe plant operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform equipment shutdowns, start-ups, and cleaning.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on equipment.
• Handle routine building maintenance including plumbing and electrical repairs.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot issues to maintain efficiency and reliability.
• Assist in root cause analysis for equipment failures.
• Monitor and adjust production flows, rates, temperatures, and pressures.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
• Adhere to all safety and food safety policies.
• Support other maintenance technicians with breakdowns, line maintenance, and equipment upgrades.
• Assist sanitation with assembly and disassembly of equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized maintenance workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Knowledge of building maintenance and repair procedures.
• Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Skilled in reading blueprints and technical instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to maintain facility cleanliness and safety standards.

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of building maintenance experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience with equipment such as conveyors, bucket elevators, roasters, pasteurizers, and color sorters.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform moderate to heavy work, including standing, stooping, walking, and lifting up to 75 pounds.
• Comfortable working near moving mechanical parts and in varying noise levels and weather conditions.
