We are seeking a dedicated, organized, and proactive individual to join our team as a Legal Administrative Assistant. This role is ideal for someone with a demonstrated interest in the legal field and a strong desire to contribute to a dynamic and highly professional legal team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to our attorneys, ensuring the smooth operation of our office. This is a full-time, permanent position with competitive compensation and benefits.

Responsibilities:

The Legal Administrative Assistant will have the following responsibilities:

1. Accurately entering attorney time and managing expense reports to ensure prompt and accurate billing.
2. Assisting in the production of legal documents, including drafting, formatting, and proofreading.
3. Coordinating and scheduling meetings, depositions, court dates, and other appointments.
4. Maintaining organized and up-to-date case files.
5. Assisting with the preparation of legal briefs and other related documents.
6. Liaising with clients, court personnel, and other legal offices in a professional manner.
7. Ensuring the confidentiality of all sensitive information.
8. Assisting with other administrative tasks as required, such as answering phones, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the Legal Administrative Assistant position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal administrative assistant, legal secretary, or similar role.
2. Proficiency in attorney time entry, expense reports, legal billing, and legal document production.
3. Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.
4. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
6. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
7. High degree of professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality.
8. Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures is preferred.
9. A diploma or certification in legal administration, paralegal studies, or a related field is an asset.
