About Us:

Sundance Lawn & Landscapes is a known commercial landscaping company based in Chantilly, VA. We specialize in commercial landscape installation and maintenance projects across Northern Virginia and the D.C. Metro area. We’re growing and looking for a motivated Landscape Estimator to join our estimating team.

Position Overview:

The Landscape Estimator will assist in preparing accurate estimates for commercial landscaping projects. This role involves communicating with clients and vendors, gathering pricing information, performing site measurements, and helping prepare professional proposals. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable speaking with clients both by phone and email.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with preparing detailed cost estimates for commercial landscape projects.

• Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and subcontractors via phone and email.

• Gather and organize pricing information for materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.

• Perform site visits to gather measurements and project details.

• Review plans, drawings, and specifications to identify project requirements.

• Support the estimating team with proposal preparation and follow-ups.

Qualifications:

• Experience in landscaping, construction estimating, or a related field preferred (willing to train the right candidate).

• Strong communication and customer service skills (verbal and written).

• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word, email).

• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.

• Valid driver’s license.
