JET SKI TOUR GUIDE – Hamilton Island An exciting opportunity now exists for a Jet Ski Tour Guide to join our Marina team. Imagine spending your days cruising the beautiful world heritage listed Whitsunday Island’s waterways and helping our guests have fun! Keep your eyes peeled, you may spot humpback whales, turtles or dolphins on your way. Your Role You will provide our guests with professional, safe and enjoyable Jet Ski tour’s, including introducing beginners and experienced riders alike to the joys of Jet Skiing in this World Heritage listed area. There will be multiple tours per day with a strong emphasis on customer service and safety. You will also assist guests with dinghy hire, instruction and waterways advise. Where you’ll make an impact Checking the weather conditions prior to commencing each tour or hire to ensure it is safe to go out on the water Provide instructional lessons for guests with a focus on safety Ensure all supplies are maintained and are in a safe and operable working order Respond to all guest enquiries and complaints in a polite and efficient manner Ensure all relevant paperwork is completed What we’re looking for We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills and the patience to work effectively with team members. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage time efficiently are essential in this role. To be successful, you will need Coxswain Grade 3 or higher First Aid and CPR certificate PWC license QLD Drivers Licence You love the outdoors and are comfortable working outside - rain, hail or shine You have grown up on the water, love fishing and boating and are happy to share your knowledge with our guests You are a skilled and experienced Jet skier and have the natural ability to instruct others You are an experienced tour guide Resort experience will be an advantage You will have experience within the marine industry About Hamilton Island Our mission is to share the wonder of Hamilton Island with the world by creating wonder-filled experiences for our guests, employees and community.
