Hospital Inventory Coordinator

Location: Lewiston, ID
Pay: $20-$22/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. **Must be available to work holidays and/or holiday weekends**

About the Role:

We are hiring an Hospital Inventory Coordinator to support a fast-paced medical/hospital environment. This critical role ensures accurate inventory management for operating rooms, implants, and consignment supplies while supporting cost control, compliance, and urgent surgical needs. The ideal candidate thrives under pressure, has exceptional attention to detail, and can communicate effectively with providers, vendors, and patients.

What You'll Do:

• Oversee OR, implant, and consignment inventory, including par levels, tracking, and backorders
• Maintain ERP and item master data; generate inventory, usage, and cost reports
• Support sterile processing operations, implant traceability, and urgent OR supply needs
• Collaborate on supply standardization initiatives, cost savings, and budget variance reviews
• Coordinate vendor product trials and onboarding
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and hospital standards
• Respond professionally and efficiently to high-pressure situations involving providers and patients

What We're Looking For:

• Strong attention to detail with a sense of urgency
• Ability to professionally handle challenging interactions with providers and patients
• Business or healthcare degree or equivalent experience preferred (HS diploma/GED required)
• Experience with ERP/inventory management systems and data reporting
• Proven success in cost reduction and process improvement
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
• Proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools
• Comfortable working closely with OR teams and clinical staff
