*Pay Range $18.50 Per Hour* *Rates of pay are determined by previous experience and labor contract seniority*

The General Merchandise Manager will oversee the operation of the General Merchandise department. Major areas of responsibility include:

• Providing exceptional customer service
• Fulfill or oversee weekly product orders while following all proper operating procedure in order to maintain adequate supply levels
• Achieving financial goals such as sales, gross profit maximization, as well as minimization of shrink and supply expense for the grocery department
• Proper merchandising shelf management
• Proper ordering and receiving of product
• Assisting in the achievement of financial goals (sales gross profit maximization)
• Ensuring regulatory company policy compliance (i.e. operations, safety, and sanitation)
• Training and development of GM associates

Successful candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Previous retail experience required
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent communication, organizational, and prioritization skills
