General Manager
Souvla Marin – Marin Country Mart
Description/About the Role: You’ll love being a Souvla General Manager! The GM is responsible for all day-to-day restaurant operations of Souvla Marin overseeing staff, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining essential business functions. This position will collaborate with internal and external partners to accomplish various administrative and operational tasks relating to the successful organization and business operation of Souvla. The GM contributes to the planning, organization, and training necessary to achieve restaurant objectives in sales, costs, employee retention, communication and awareness, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, and Responsible Beverage Service compliance.
Qualifications
§ 1-2 years of restaurant management experience; preferred knowledge of Greek wine.
§ Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with a variety of business partners.
§ Basic understanding in Microsoft Office Suite: (Word, Excel), Google Suite: (Gmail, Google Calendar) and Apple/iOS.

Requirements: Ability to read and interpret general business documents. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, guests, and Souvla Leadership Team. The physical demands of a General Manager include being regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, or hear. Frequently it is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The General Manager is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. They must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds, be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time and able to safely lift and easily maneuver plates, cases of water, beer, or wine, chairs, and dining room tables. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be high when working at sites during the construction process.
Salary Description: This position has a salary range of $80,000 - $83,000/ annually. This does not include any available bonus programs.
