About the Role:
At Happy Egg, our farmers are at the heart of everything we do. As a Farmer Recruiter , you’ll play a key role in expanding and maintaining our network of direct contract farmers. You’ll be responsible for recruiting farmers who align with our high standards for sustainable and humane farming, ensuring a reliable and consistent supply of eggs. From initial outreach to onboarding, you’ll build strong relationships, assess candidate qualifications, and provide expert guidance throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, recruit, and sign contract farmers who meet Happy Egg’s sustainability and animal welfare criteria.
• Conduct thorough screening calls to assess candidates' capabilities and ensure alignment with our company values.
• Provide clear guidance to candidates on farm setup, financial viability, and operational expectations.
• Review financial models with prospective farmers to determine their feasibility within Happy Egg’s business objectives.
• Address inquiries about the loan process and poultry farm construction.
• Collaborate with bankers to establish relationship, loan closure timelines and ensure smooth farm setup.
• Collaborating/Communicating with field teams on repops and depops.
• Working with construction companies to ensure construction completion dates

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong financial acumen to evaluate the business viability of potential contract farmers.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to foster positive connections with farmers.
• A deep understanding of poultry farming operations and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in poultry science, agriculture business, or a related field.
2. Experience in farm recruitment or agricultural outreach.
