This role involves coordinating database changes, testing, and implementing data systems, while leveraging expertise in data architecture, data structure design, and schema modeling . The ideal candidate is passionate about enabling data-driven decisions and driving business value through clean, scalable data systems. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with senior leadership, technical teams, and stakeholders to define data requirements and develop efficient data strategies. Design logical and physical data models, including robust data structures and scalable database schemas to support enterprise needs. Write and review database descriptions, specifications, and documentation for implementation by development teams. Develop, automate, and maintain enterprise-scale ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines for efficient data integration and transformation. Modify and enhance existing databases and database management systems; guide developers and analysts on implementing these changes. Ensure the quality and performance of database systems through rigorous testing, error correction, and optimization techniques. Advocate for best practices in data management, storage, access, and security. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. 8+ years of experience in data analysis, database design, or related roles. Proven expertise in designing and managing relational databases, including schema design and data modeling. Strong experience with database technologies (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle). Proficiency in ETL frameworks and tools. Familiarity with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, R, or Shell). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong written and verbal communication abilities. Demonstrated success in leveraging data to support strategic business decisions.
