Job Title: Construction Electrician Apprentice
Location: Greater Phoenix, AZ Metro
Compensation: $17 - $20/hr
Type: Full time, w2, Construction Electrician Apprentice

Job Summary: We are seeking an eager and diligent Construction Electrician Apprentice to join our dynamic electrical team. This entry-level position will provide you with hands-on experience and knowledge in the field of electrical work within the construction industry. You will work closely with skilled electricians to learn the trade through on-the-job training while also assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in new and existing buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the installation of electrical systems including conduit, wiring, fixtures, and electrical apparatus under the supervision of a journeyman electrician.
• Follow electrical codes, blueprints, and diagrams to understand the layout of electrical systems and ensure compliance with building regulations.
• Help with the inspection, repair, and maintenance of electrical components, tools, and equipment.
• Manage materials and inventory to ensure availability of necessary supplies for projects.
• Attend and actively participate in job-related training sessions and apprenticeship classes to develop a comprehensive understanding of the trade.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and standards to maintain a secure work environment.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent; a vocational training or certificate in electrical technology is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in the electrical trade.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Good physical condition, able to lift heavy objects, and comfortable working at heights.
• Excellent work ethic and time management skills.

Working Conditions:

• Work on various construction sites with exposure to outdoor weather conditions.
• Physical activity including standing, bending, and lifting is required.
• Safety equipment must be worn at all times during work hours.
