We are on the lookout for a dynamic and innovative Permanent Product Designer to join our fast-paced SaaS Technology company. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating intuitive, user-centric designs and a knack for solving complex problems. You will be responsible for creating and implementing design strategies that enhance our product's user experience. This role will require a deep understanding of user behavior, as well as the ability to create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes that lead to an effective user experience.
***Must have B2B SaaS product experience. B2C not considered at this time.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering.
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders.
- Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to enhance and polish the user experience.
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
- Utilize HTML, CSS, Javascript, and other relevant web design coding languages to bring designs to life.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 7+ years of professional experience in product design for B2B SaaS products.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and SQL a plus, not required
- Experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating your prowess in product design.
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction.
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively.
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process.
- Strong understanding of front-end development and the ability to work closely with development teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in Design, Interaction Design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
