HPC-Industrial , powered by Clean Harbors, in Canton, OH is looking for a Class A or B CDL- Equipment Operator to join their safety conscious team! This team member is responsible for the safe and successful execution of jobs across all service lines and various other responsibilities. The Equipment Operator serves as a representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers. Transitioning Military , this is a great opportunity to leverage your skills and training as you return to civilian life.

Key Responsibilities:
\n \n\n
Act as safety representative responsible for safety policies and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands-on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response and administrative functions;
\nHands-on operation vacuum equipment and hydroblasting equipment;
\nOperation of special equipment, such as Ultra High-Pressure pumps;
\n \n \n\n
\n
Operate equipment by energizing the pumping equipment and/or any specialized hydroblasting and/or chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks and cutting equipment being used on the job;
\nMay be required to examine surface cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer specifications;
\nPerform routine maintenance on company equipment being used on the job;
\nPerform any and all duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines and jet rodders;
\nMay direct a crew of vacuum technicians;
\n \n \n\n
\n
May transport equipment and personnel to and from customer locations;
\nCompletes pre and post trip inspections, driver’s logs and complies with all other vehicle policy and DOT requirements;
\nLoading and unloading hoses;
\nUnload vacuum truck at the dump site;
\nProvide general maintenance in the field;
\n \n \n\n

Perform other related duties as assigned.
\n \nQUALIFICATIONS
\n
\n
Required Qualifications:
\n
\n
Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs;
\nLanguage proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations;
\nValid driver’s license, CDL Class A or B and other requirements of company’s driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business;
\n \n \n\n

Smartphone required for Electronic Logging Device;
\nFederal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required;
\nMust be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers;
\nExperience operating a vacuum truck;
\nWorking knowledge of operating equipment used in wet and dry vacuums.

What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?
\nClass A or B CDL License required; No restrictions, must be able to drive manual transmission vehicles.
\nExperience driving manual transmission trucks.
\n Must be available to work variable shifts including weekends.
