Base pay range

$150,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr

About the Company & Opportunity

Our client is a nonprofit in DC focused on the performing arts.
Due to a retirement, they are hiring a CFO to work hybrid (2 days in office, 3 days remote).
Schedule: MonFri, 8a.m.5p.m.
Pay: $7582 per hour depending on experience.
This position will start as a contract; with strong performance it could become a permanent fulltime role with a salary range of $170k$180k.

Overview of the CFO Role

Provides strategic management of the accounting and finance functions.
Directs accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
Recommends improvements to ensure the integrity of a companys financial statements.
Collaborates with the chief information officer on technology decisions.
Oversees financial systems implementations and upgrades.
Manages relationships with investors and investment institutions.
Identifies and manages business risks and insurance requirements.
Leads and supervises accounting and finance staff.

Preferred Qualifications for the CFO

Masters degree preferred.
CPA is a plus.
Experience with Sage Intacct is a plus.
5+ years of CSuite experience required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
