Job Description

Certified Medication Aide Shift: Weekends Sat & Sun 7a-6p Meadowbrook Care Center is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Certified Medication Aide to join our care team. This role is essential in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to residents, as well as supporting high-quality resident care in alignment with each individual service plan. Key Responsibilities * Administer prescribed medications to residents and accurately document services provided. * Assist with medication refills and maintain medication records in compliance with applicable standards. * Maintain resident and family confidentiality at all times. * Serve as a liaison between caregivers and nursing staff regarding residents’ medication needs. * Observe and report any changes in resident condition to the appropriate staff. * Ensure consistent delivery of high-quality care aligned with resident service plans. Qualifications * Active CNA or equivalent certification required. * First Aid and CPR certification. * Completion of state-approved medication aide training/coursework. * Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a similar role preferred. * Must meet all state licensing requirements. * Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. * Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to relate to diverse populations. * Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, and leadership abilities. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
