POSITION SUMMARY
Carpenters at Chesapeake Finishing, Inc are responsible for safely and skillfully performing carpentry work on residential/commercial projects. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a professional environment with consistent projects and competitive compensation.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Perform framing, finish carpentry, and general woodwork tasks according to project specifications.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
• Collaborate effectively with the project team and subcontractors.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (Form I-9 verification required)
• Proven carpentry experience in residential or commercial construction
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely
• Strong attention to detail and workmanship

POSITION CONDITIONS

• Work outside, as required.
• Must own basic carpentry hand tools.
• Must be able to work at height.
• Walk and work on uneven surfaces, uphill/downhill, climb ladders, and climb and work from scaffolding.
• See with clarity (naturally or with correction), have accurate depth perception and acceptable peripheral vision.
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
• Some lifting or carrying.
• Hear sufficiently to respond to verbal instruction, warning bells, and alarms.
• Work flexible hours, and overtime when required.
• Frequent travel to project sites across DC, MD, VA, and surrounding areas
