Position : BIM/VDC Modeler
Reports to: Director of VDC
Location: Columbus, Ohio
Pay Range : $20 - $30 per hour
The ultimate decision regarding the starting salary of a successful candidate will vary based on a number of factors, including market location, experience, skills, and education.
The Superior Group is looking for a highly-motivated and organized BIM/VDC Modeler to join our fast-paced team. This position will be responsible for preparing 3D models of new and existing electrical systems within commercial buildings. The position will be based at our company headquarters in Columbus, Ohio.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare 3D models of electrical building systems in Revit
- Prepare 3D Navisworks models used for BIM coordination
- Run clash detection reports, resolve clashes, and participate in the BIM coordination process
- Prepare installation and prefabrication drawings
- Build Revit families, Prefab assemblies, and contribute to BIM standards
- Follow established standards for modeling and production of drawings

- You're a great communicator, a team player, and ready to work with colleagues across our jobsites and organization
- You have the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and the willingness to learn new processes
- You're able to exercise confidentiality and discretion at all times when dealing with sensitive data and information
Your Expertise - Required: You have 2+ years experience in 3D BIM/VDC Modeling using Revit
- Bonus points if you have experience with Autodesk Navisworks Software
- Bonus points if you have Construction/MEP background
- Bonus points if you have Electrical BIM/VDC modeling experience
