Job Description

Part-time 20-29 hours/week

The Life and Leadership Coaching Administrative Assistant shall serve The Navigators and fulfill the responsibilities listed below in the spirit of The Navigators calling, values and purpose: To advance the Gospel of Jesus and His kingdom into the nations through spiritual generations of laborers living and discipling among the lost.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Life and Leadership Coaching Administrative Assistant [85%]
  • Perform administrative support as necessary, including managing email accounts, managing databases, meeting agendas, notes, travel. and logistics.
  • Assist in maintaining the Life and Leadership Coaching budget including allocation and tracking of funding to provide scholarship resources to staff in need of assistance.
  • Create and support all event registrations and follow-up to registrants for training Navigator staff in all areas of life and leadership coaching.
  • Maintain and support all assessment platform needs for all coaches in Life and Leadership Coaching
  • Coordinate and process all new coaching registrations for those engaging in Life and Leadership coaching.
  • Coordinate, schedule, and host meetings and events for Life and Leadership Team.
  • Create, coordinate, edit, publish all marketing materials for Coaching events.
  • Coordinate and edit newsletters and support-development materials for Team. Coordinate, manage, and track multiple projects related to Life and Leadership Coaching resources including all Coach Camp, Coach Training Manual and Growth Guide resources.
  • Develop material to include handouts, PowerPoint presentations and research for speaking and writing opportunities for Team as needed. Order and mail materials as requested.
  • Complete and submit monthly expense reports for Life and Leadership Coaching Co-Director.

Additional Responsibilities [15%]
  • Work with and coordinate joint tasks and projects with the TDC Operations and Administration team TDC Content & Media team, HQ staff, and other TDC staff as needed. .
  • Participate in annual processes, such as the organizational Plan and Progress Review (PPR), Engagement Survey, Reaffirmation of the Navigators Code of Conduct, Calling-Core Values-Vision, Statement of Faith, Driver's Authorization, and other releases as required.
  • Submit time worked on a weekly basis through the Workday Time Tracking system.
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Spiritual: Belief in and adherence to the Statement of Faith and Mission of The Navigators.

Experience: At least 3 years of experience as an administrative professional.

Technical Knowledge & Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), ability to learn new systems and platforms quickly. Preferred experience with RegFox, Constant Contact, MailChimp. Basic editing, graphic and visual design skills helpful.

Communication & Leadership: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal & written, to create understanding and build strong working relationships required. Attention to detail, self-motivated, takes initiative, manages multiple projects, ability to keep confidential information.

Education: Preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education/experience.

Compensation Range: $17-23/hour
